What is Event Participation Insurance?

Event Participation Insurance guarantees the loss of the ticket price in case the customers who purchase an event ticket from Biletix website cannot participate to the event under the guarantee conditions detailed below. In addition, it provides individual accident insurance to a person who buys a ticket only with the identification information (TCKN, YKN), which is limited to a guarantee price of 100 TL.

Where to buy?

The product can be purchased as an option through Biletix website. Insurance process is completed by sending the certificate, the general and special conditions of the policy and the information form to the user receiving the ticket via e-mail.

In which cases is it valid? What does its cover?

At the beginning, Event Participation Insurance will be provided for ticket sales to real person for Music, Performing Arts, Family Entertainment and Education event categories.

For this product, event tickets have to be purchased through Biletix Turkey website (www.biletix.com) with the prerequisite of fulfillment of the conditions that have substance and specific conditions listed below will be valid.

1. In case of the death of the person who has 1st and 2nd degree blood ties of the insured,
2. At the event day, if there is a serious injury or serious illness of the insured in progress,
3. At the event day, if the insured will be called as a witness to a court in Turkey ,
4. At the event day, the vehicle belonging to or allocated/rented to the insured is stolen or the vehicle is seriously damaged due to an accident,
5. In case of theft in the address of the insured's residence or serious damage caused by serious fire, storm, flood, explosion, collapse, vandalism and/or similar situations,
6. In case the insured cannot attend the event and/or cannot reach the event due to the fact that the preferred public transportation vehicles (including scheduled flights) do not work and/or these vehicles do not comply with the scheduled hours, in order to reach the address where the event will be held,
7. At the day of the event, the insurance apply in cases due to an accident and/or breakdown while using the vehicle belonging to him/her and/or allocated to himself/herself to participate to event, if there is no alternative transportation or waiting for a traffic officer.
